A lack of time isn’t your problem.
Disrespecting your ‘energy window’ is.
Labor workers think of time as money.
But knowledge workers - creators - know quality of thought matters most.
↳ Quality of hours worked vs. quantity
The point: Work when your mental energy is at its peak.
You only have the mental energy for 2-6 hours a day of focused work.
Having ‘the time’ to work won’t matter if you don’t have:
❖ Energy
❖ Mental clarity
❖ The right environment
To work with.
Parkinson’s Law - the time it takes to finish work shrinks or expands to meet your deadlines.
But your deadline is shorter than you think.
Remember, it’s not about time. It’s about energy.
Consider your energy window - 2 to 6 hours.
Shorten your deadline.
It will exponentially increase your productivity.
⏃ To Win at Content Creation ⏃
You already know procrastination is productivity poison.
But you might not know preparation is one of the sneakiest forms of procrastination.
❖ Preparing to write
❖ Preparing for meetings
❖ Preparing products for launch
Follow the law of ‘minimum viable preparation.’
Prep what is absolutely necessary to show up at your best.
But never more.
The over-prepared fall behind those with a bias for action.

“Is this content timely or timeless?”
Timely = Worked in the past but not the present
Timeless = Works in the past, present, and likely the future.
