So that I could quit working with entitled students.

And see for myself if the digital nomad life was the life for me.

So I reached out to a ghostwriter and offered to write for him for free.

His response?

A laughable, no.

He wouldn’t even let me work for free.

Looking back, it’s obvious why.

No audience. No credibility. No experience.

Why would he trust me?

He wouldn’t.

So I just did it anyway.

I wrote two Twitter threads for him and sent them over.

No ask. No expectation. Just proof of work.

Lucky for me, he actually kind of liked them.

So he took a shot on me.

“Write one more.”

I did. It performed well.

So he asked for another. And another.

And then… hell began.

The 3AM Torture Test That Defined My Writing Career

This ghostwriter? Lived in Europe.

I live near Vancouver. PST time zone.

Big problem.

When he needed content, he needed it fast. With no warning.

He’d wake me up at 3AM:

“Hey, I need two threads in the next two hours.”

Half-asleep. Eyes burning. Groggy as hell.

I’d roll over, grab my laptop, and write threads in my pajamas.

Then collapse for a couple more hours of sleep… before dragging myself through an 8-hour workday.

The black bags under my eyes?

Worse than a junkie’s last withdrawal.

And I did this for three months.

For. F*cking. Free.

And guess what?

It was the best decision I ever made.

Why?

Because I took screenshots of every viral post I wrote.

I stockpiled proof like a conspiracy theories preparing for doomsday.

So when I launched my own ghostwriting offer?

I had undeniable proof I could write viral content.

Clients didn’t need convincing. They just paid.

I went from $0 to $10,000/month in 45 days.
