If you could go back in time, how would you change your past?

If you could go back in time, how would you change your past?

Would you become a crypto millionaire by investing in Bitcoin before the boom?

Would you get ahead of Dan Koe, Dickie Bush, and Justin Welsh by writing on X and LinkedIn in 2020?

Would you go waaaayyyyy back and meet the Buddha during his prime years?

Regardless of your answers, I hate to break it to you.

We can't go back in time to avoid our painful, embarrassing mistakes.

And that's actually a good thing.

Because your mistakes made you into the person you are today.

But with that said, if I could go back in time, there is one piece of advice I would give my younger self.

This advice wouldn't make me a crypto millionaire, nor will it make you one.

But it does have the power to make you 6 figures worth of online income (in the next 12 months).

So if you're struggling to make your first $1 online, build a profitable one-person business, or become a full-time ghostwriter, then this advice is for you….

The Power Law of Digital Economics

Whoever is the best in any given niche, makes 80% of the money.

This is why Dan Koe, Justin Welsh, and Dickie Bush alone, make more money than most of their competitors combined.

What's my point here?

If I could go back in time, I'd spoon feed my younger self this hard truth.

If you want to make six figures online, consistently, for years and years, then you have to join the top 10% in your chosen niche.

Otherwise you will never build a successful online business, make over 6 figures a year, or leave your day job.

You'll continue to spin your tires day after day.

Failing to attract leads, close any clients, or sell enough digital products to earn a decent income.

This message isn't meant to discourage you.

It's meant to empower you.

Join the top 10% or struggle (forever).

It pains me to say this but if you aren't willing to put in the work to join the top 10%, then save yourself the time and quit now.

Or at least pivot to a niche where you are willing to put in the work.

Business is hard. It is competitive.

To achieve the life you desire, you must become a competitor.

There is no other option.

To build a profitable personal brand as a ghostwriter, coach, or consultant, you must intentionally practice your craft with singular focus, every day for at least 1 hour.

Most people will never do this (it's why they never make it).

They will never:

  • Obsess over writing viral hooks

  • Write for 365 consecutive days

  • Say no to drinking on the weekends

  • Overdeliver for every one of their clients

  • Grind through black, sleepy eye lids to meet their clients' deadlines while working a day job

Is it hard to join the top 10%?

Yes…

… BUT….

It's not as hard as you think.

It took me 1 year of hard, focused work to scale my ghostwriting agency to a consistent $40,000 /mo of income.

I did that starting from scratch with no marketing knowledge, writing skills, or online business experience.

You can do that too.

But only if you're willing to get real with me and yourself first…

Do You Have What it Takes?

To build a profitable online business, you need to:

  • Write consistent viral content

  • Attract your first 10,000 followers

  • Create a unique, compelling offer that sets you apart from your competitors

  • Drive leads through content, outreach, and referrals

  • Crush sales calls (ethically)

Learn the future proof skill stack needed to accomplish these goals and you're in the top 10%.

It's that simple.

But it isn't easy.

So let's call out a few elephants in this room:

⇢ Did any of your posts go viral this week (100 shares or 1,000+ likes)?

⇢ Did you attract at least 1,000 new followers this month?

⇢ Did you attract 5-10 new leads this month?

⇢ Did you close at least 3 of them?

⇢ Did you make at least $5,000 this month?

I wish someone asked me these questions sooner.

Why?

Because they're the hard reality check I wish I had when I was starting out.

Last week, we had a group coaching call in my Microcreators community.

A few members said they were on track to make tons of money with their generic self improvement offers.

Within minutes, these questions had them realizing they were no where close to reaching their goals.

Their ego gave them false certainty that they were on track when they were wasting time going in the wrong direction.

So what did we do?

I worked with each of them to come up with new, profitable offers.

Provided feedback on their content (even rewriting some of it for them).

Gave them a copy of my warm DM outreach script to attract leads with a small audience.

And voila, now they're on track to making their first $1 online.

It only took 5 questions, 7 days, and a few messages to get their business headed in a profitable direction.

That's the power of hard truths.

Be honest about your current skill level.
Identify where you need to improve.
Practice daily until you join the top 10% in your niche.

You don't even have to join Microcreators like the other members to change the trajectory of your life (although it will speed up the process).

You're rewarded for the results you get, not the hours you put in.

Become the person who can get those results.

The world will be your playground.

Your business will be profitable for years to come.
