I’m pissed off… and you should be too

The backwards truth about anger, guilt, and motivation.

4 - Alex Hormozi’s Mindset Hack

5 - What It’s Really Like Behind the Scenes

I’m about to let you in on a secret.

This week has been Rough. ↳ Yes, with a capital R.

It’s been full of unexpected obstacles, challenges and hard truths.

✧ My copywriter said I a have sh*tty mindset

✧ My team lead at Ghostlii called me out for being a toxic leader (at times)

✧ My cohort launch is coming up and I’ve been too busy with agency work to focus on it

All week I’ve felt the anger and guilt building up.

But why am I telling you this?

Dan Koe’s Cycle of Progress

I once read a newsletter from Dan Koe where he broke down his cycle of progress.

It went something like this:

⇢ Life starts getting sh*tty

⇢ You start getting pissed about it

⇢ You eventually get so pissed you take massive action to correct it

⇢ Your fix your sh*tty situation, learn valuable lessons and become better

This week, I needed to remember this advice.

I’m at the point, where I’m pissed off enough to take massive action.

And you see man, this is how it looks to direct negative emotions towards healthy outcomes.

As Alex Hormozi says, you don’t need to be happy, inspired, or excited to do what you need to do.
↳ You just need to use what you’ve got.

Right now, I got anger around allowing my time to get taken by agency work.

And guilt around not being the leader my team needs.

If you’re still reading this, then maybe you feel you can do the same…

Love Him or Hate Him, Andrew Tate Has a Point

Tate recently spent time isolated in a jail cell.

But not just any jail cell, a Romanian one.

He described it as a dark abyss, consumed by sad energy.

To get through it, he kept reminding himself that it was a test from god.

A chance to prove to himself and the world that he really is the “Top G.”

Whether you believe in god or not, isn’t this the healthiest mindset to have?

To see your challenges as trials and tribulations.

To see them as the path towards the the best person you can be.

Again, this is advice I needed to remind myself of this week.

I’ve never done a public launch before.

✧ I’m scared of failing in public
✧ I’m dealing with the deep insecurities of imposter syndrome
✧ And I’m struggling to be consistently confident

There’s been many times the pressure broke me.

Spiralling me into a pizza consuming fiend.
↳ Ya, I’m a stress eater (working on it).

But that’s what happens when we step out of our comfort zone.

We stumble.

Our identity is threatened.

And the best chance we have of success, is to roll with the punches and use the negative emotions as fuel.

Alex Hormozi’s Mindset Hack

Hormozi is an advocate for thinking in long time horizons.

When I take a snapshot of snapping on my team lead under the pressure, I feel like sh*t.

But what happens when I expand my time horizon?

⇢ I apologize
⇢ Correct my behavior
⇢ Make sure to do everything I can to avoid repeating the same mistake

Today’s struggles are tomorrow’s lessons.

We’re all human.

We’re going to stumble and make mistakes.

Fail fast.

Learn lessons even faster.

Think long term to take the edge off.

What It’s Really Like Behind the Scenes ⏃

You see my content.

But you don’t see behind the scenes.

The truth is, it’s messy.

Full of mistakes, slip ups, and moments of weakness where my shadow self shines too bright.

Only the people closest to me feel the wrath of it.

It’s unfortunate.

Because they’re the ones I care about the most.

As you step outside of your comfort zone, you will struggle.

Your current habits, mindsets, and ways of being will be tested.

It may even break you for a short time.

But it’s never too late to reflect, learn the lesson, and come out the other side reborn.

We’re all imperfect humans.

Stumbling through the dark as we move towards the light.

Don’t get so caught up in the moment that you forget the bigger picture.

It’s always darkest before the dawn.
