My Double Life

For over a year, I treated LinkedIn like the neglected stepchild of my social platforms.

I'd pour my heart into X, craft the perfect threads and engage deeply with my audience.

Then, as an afterthought, I'd lazily repurpose that content to LinkedIn at 11 PM, wondering why nothing stuck.

I was treating LinkedIn like Twitter-lite, and it was failing miserably.

My LinkedIn Process

1) Deliberately deconstruct (study what works)

Find 5 viral LinkedIn posts in your niche and break down their hook structure.

Write new hooks using ideas you can't help but write about.

2) Create LinkedIn-Native Content

Use carousels, stories, and frameworks (not just text posts).

Always include a high-quality picture.

3) Commit to Consistency

Post 5x per week specifically for LinkedIn.

Use AI systems to write each post in under 60 minutes.

4) Daily Cold Comments + Connections

Send 40 targeted connection requests daily using Sales Navigator.

Spend 30 minutes daily commenting on your target audience's posts.

This gives your content an unfair boost in the algorithm.

5) Expand Your Nuclear Network

DM 5 new connections daily with a non-salesy approach.

If someone responds, you get a massive algo boost for the next month.

This increases your average daily impressions over time.

It makes your content compound.

Real Results In Action

When I first tested this approach, I was skeptical it would work for me.

I had been stuck at around 100 engagements per post for a YEAR.

Within four weeks of implementing this strategy, my average doubled to 200+ engagements.

But the real proof came when I taught this to our student TJ Patel.

He wasn't a known name, had no existing audience, yet using this exact process, he grew to 5,000 followers in less than 3 months and now gets 400+ reactions per post – double my own engagement.
